Welcome to my new campaign!

Feel free to leave your thoughts if you have any.

This is just something I can’t stop thinking of while watching anime.

If you watch it in context it seems that all the characters fight in a turn based system.
Additionally it looks like they use healing surges to recover, often times mid battle.

There are also some aspects from the PFSRD20 that I thought were incorporated:

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/variant-rules#TOC-Wounds-and-Vigor

The wounds and vigor variant was the biggest thing I noticed. As they fight they get more fatigued until the point they run out of vigor. Then they spray a mouthful of blood onto the field… shit I just ate a hair so I think I should change the bloodied condition from 4e to “winded”.

They all have powers & special attacks (that they even call out their name when using) so 4e seems to fit there… but I’ve been playing a lot of Pathfinder lately & I see them fitting into the 3.x class roles too.

I like the way 4e rebalances the game & brings the d20 back into the spotlight. Things really rely on the die roll in 4e… not so much in 3.×.

After that, take a look at your wiki. There is some more helpful info there.
